Oh Christmas

Well Christmas was a blast! What a good time we had and oh how the kids got spoiled. They received way to much from there grandparents and we are very thankfull for all that we got! We had a busy two weeks. We went to Gamma and Wacko house first. We played with cousins and opened presents it was a lot of crazy fun.
Then it was back to our house for Christmas eve and Christmas day. Santa brought them alot of toys and we had a very good time. TJ was so excited on Christmas day we had to wake up the kids at 7:30 because he could not wait any longer.
Then finally off to Papa and NeeNees. We got there on Christmas day around 3:00 and the girls were so hyper they were crazy and still had more prestents to open! They had a big week opening presents.

Then on Monday it was off to the cabin for some exciting snowmobling and sledding. We had a great time and thanks to the fam for letting us ride there machines. We had a blast. It is good to be home tough and it will be great to use all the fun toys that we got. Thank you everyone! Happy New Year :)

Three Layers of Christmas

In Relief Society we had a Christmas party about making Christmas simple. It was a night full of the spirit and tears. One speaker gave her talk on the three layers of chritstmas. The first being the santa clause layer. This is the presents, the candy, decorations, last minute shopping, caroling and all the stuff that we fill ourselves up on, until we can not wait untill the the 26th, so we can finally put all the decorations away and start the new year. The second layer is the baby Jesus layer. This layer consist of nativities, wisemen, service projects and all the good things of christmas.  However, this layer fades just like the first layer and we all continue on our way through the new year, without every really celebrating the birth of Christ. The third layer is the layer that we must have for Christmas, so that we may keep it with us all year long. It is the celebration of the adult Christ. This is what he did for us, and what he does for our busy lives today. We need to remember him all year long and keep the magical feeling of Christmas with us.  Just like a cake you must have layers to make it good. How good would it be, if we could constantly keep the thought of the Savior with us all year long? I hope you all have a "simple" christmas and are able to keep the third layer of Christmas with you all year long.

Centerpiece :)

At the High School a lady was teaching a centerpiece class and TJ signed me up for it, I was a little nervous to go but I thought it turned out alright.

Maybe I will have to venture out alittle next time and put some flowers in it but it made me excited for Christmas and reminded me of my wedding bouquet with the pine cones. So Merry Christmas to all!

Sewing?? Oh my!

So I decided that I needed a new hobby and I was going to try my hand at sewing. Thanks Corilynn for the machine, it is great! My mom came up and we got this really cute material to make Christmas skirts. So I thought why not, it can not be that hard?  BHAAAAAAAAAA.  It was challening.   Seam ripper and I became very close, but the end product is pretty stinkin cute, I think.
This is Kennedy's skirt.  The girls wore them to church today and thought they were just great.

Kaidence is in a lovely stage in her life now.  She likes to throw herself on the ground and pitch a little fit.  So, here is Kaidence in her skirt, while throwing a fit.

That was my hand at sewing.  I would really like to keep it up. I like looking at the finished product, so maybe it was worth the burns and the sore fingers!

Happy Birthday Kendall Monster!!!

Kendall turned five today! Oh how the time flies. It feels like just yesterday they put her in my arms with her big blue eyes and all of her black hair. She was the best little baby. She loved to smile and laugh at everyone. I rarely remember a time when she cried. And then she turned three and oh wow! She has always had a lot of personality and keeps us entertained by the things she is saying. We love this little teenager so much.
She was spoiled this year, with three birthday parties and with two cakes! Thanks to everyone for the presents and celebrating with us. This is her party at Grandmas and Wackos. She had a party with her cousin Lorelei.

They had a guitar cake and also had a great time. They could not blow the candles out and that was really funny to them.

Then on Friday she had another party at her NeNes and Papa.
She got a watch and she collects little birthday dolls, so she got her number 5 to add to the collection.
NeNe also made her this really cute caterpiller cake.

Then on her birthday we had a party at our house. What a spoiled little girl. We decided not to have a cake though because we had all had enough.

We love this little girl so much and we are so thankful for the joy that she brings us and the empathy and big heart that she has. I know I sound like Grandma Great but we are truely blessed to have her in our lives. So happy birhtday Kendall!  We hope this year will be as great as the last :)

Thanksgiving!

I hope that everybody had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. We had a great time.  We were at my parents house this year with all twenty of us there :) We had a good meal on Thanksgiving, relaxed, and stuck with the tradition of opening our christmas pjs.

All of the grandkids were excited to open their pajamas.  They all loved them and they were stinkin' cute.

The next greatest thing about this holiday was what the girls all did on Friday night. Christina, Mom , Grandma, Haylee and I all went to see the Radio City Rockets and they were amazing! We all had so much fun. We went out to eat at the CheeseCake Factory before.  We all ate way too much. Then off to the show. It was so good, I wish I could dance like that. We all had a really good time and thanks to the guys for watching the little ones so we all could go.

This is all of us at the Cheesecake Factory.

This was after the show. What a good time we all had. I hope that everyone is enjoying this holiday season as much as I am.

I want to wash my hands and hair and face in snow!

This is what we woke up to this morning...
Kendall and Kennedy were dying to go play in the snow! At 8:30 they were ready to go :)

Those two little girls love the snow even though it was freezing and still snowing. They are dying for TJ or I to get brave enough to go out and help them make a snowman. The first snow fall of the year is always exciting and puts us in the holiday mood. We love the snow, as long as we are not traveling! So let it snow :)

Falling Leaves

We went over to American Falls last weekend for the big football game! We are not going to blog about that though, the bulldogs had a great season and TJ started basketball this morning. On to the next sport :) While we were in AF it started to rain leaves. Unfourtnalty, for Terrell they were everywhere. Terrell recurited some helpers and they stayed busy for quite awhile. There were so many leaves and it was really pretty.

Kennedy and Karsten had a great time helping Papa with all the leaves.

It was freezing cold outside but the kids stuck with it and finally got all the leaves picked up, those were just from off the roof!

Happy leaf raking everyone!!

We were all excited about the big win.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Haunting!!I hope that everybody had as good as a time that we did. The girls made quite the haul on candy and we did not freeze to death trick or treating.
This is just Kendall's candy!  We will be going to the dentist soon.  Kendall wanted everyone to know that she went to the spooky house and made it out alive.
TJ decided to do his own makeup, he was a warewolf. I know it is kinda hard to tell, but that is why his nose is black. He is a crazy guy, but that is why we love him!
Kendall was a funky fairy. She made sure that everyon knew she was a "funky" fairy, not your average fairy. That is so Kendall.
Kennedy wanted to be a princess. She didn't care which one, so she is two mixed. She has Cinderella's hair and she is wearing Sleeping Beauty's dress.

Thanks to Grandma Chell for the crown and dress.
Kaidence was our little Kitty Cat (sounds alot better when you say it with a British accent). She was adorable at the church trunk or treat. She would put out her basket and was excited for every little piece of candy she got!

She really did not want to get her picture taken, that is why I look drunk in the picture with her. :)
Here is the whole family looking adorable!

Well that was our fun Halloween. Hopefully everybody had a good and safe Halloween.  We did!

Loving The Fall

I am so excited for Halloween! It is my second favorite holiday. I love the fall, which is my favorite season by far. I love the weather, anything with pumpkin, the decorations, the costumes, watching Hocus Pocus five hundred times and most of all College Football. Go Aggies!! The girls wanted to watch Hocus Pocus, I wanted to listen to Monster Mash, which made me think of what a great little holiday and time of the year.  So, I think that it deserves a post. So this post is for all you other Halloween/Fall lovers who are all just soaking it up right now!!  And for the rest of you, don't be such party poopers.

We are finally here!!

After several months of wanting to blog I finally did it and here we are! Thanks for the help Christina. Just a little bit about us. TJ is a teacher at Kimberly High school. He also coaches football, basketball, and softball. Needless to say he is very busy and hardly ever home during the school year, but we love our sports so it is fun. Kendall is our oldest she is four. She goes to preschool and is very mature for her age.  She always has us laughing at the things she says.  She is four going on sixteen. Kennedy is our second. She is three, she also goes to preschool. She is a fiesty little thing but we would not trade her for anything. Kaidence is our third child. She is thirteen months old and the happiest little kid you have ever seen, a very easy third child.(She gets that from her mom!!). As you can imagine I stay pretty busy with three little girls. I have my hands full.  That is our little family in a nutshell. I am excited to blog and hope you all will follow!
