Your like an old lady?
So many of you know I was on bed rest when I was prego with Kaidence. My awsome visiting teachers came over often, cleaned my house, watched my children and brought in meals. I could not have made through that trail without them. One day while they were visiting they asked me what activities I like to do that were relaxing. I told them I love to do puzzles. The one lady started to laugh and said there is a little old lady in all of us. I guess you are like an old lady because you like puzzles. I found this halirious that she would think that, so in a way I am an old lady. Growing up we always did a puzzle on New Years Eve. Every year when it gets cold and we are held up inside I want to do a puzzle this year we did two.Tj and I love to do puzzles together. Tj got this one for Christmas from my parents. He is alot better at puzzles then I am. His mom said he has been putting them together since he was two! That is impressive :)
This next one was a bit of a challenge. Kennedy got to be quite the little cheerleader, everytime I found a piece she would say yeah mom and give me high five!
Sorry this blog turned out to be a bit longer than I was planning. But now you know a little bit more about us and my little old lady ;)

Oh my body..
My dear little Kennedy has been rather sick these last couple of weeks. She first got a sinus infection, pnemounia, and allergies. Then to top it all of the got the stomach flu! More little girl. While we were at the cabin though she did something that makes me mad at myself I do not have a video camera on all the time.
She had been coughing all night long and was burning up. So I took her downstairs to sit on the couch upright because that seemed to help the coughing. She was just about asleep and then in her little voice with her cute little speech immedament she says "Oh my body, Oh my body" she then rolled over unzipped her p.j's threw them open and said "Oh my body is hot" No writting down is not that funny but anyone that has heard Kennedy talk understands how cute this little story is. That littl girl is my sanity.
Luckily she is doing much better and back to her free going attitude.

Oh Christmas
Well Christmas was a blast! What a good time we had and oh how the kids got spoiled. They received way to much from there grandparents and we are very thankfull for all that we got! We had a busy two weeks. We went to Gamma and Wacko house first. We played with cousins and opened presents it was a lot of crazy fun.
Then it was back to our house for Christmas eve and Christmas day. Santa brought them alot of toys and we had a very good time. TJ was so excited on Christmas day we had to wake up the kids at 7:30 because he could not wait any longer.
Then finally off to Papa and NeeNees. We got there on Christmas day around 3:00 and the girls were so hyper they were crazy and still had more prestents to open! They had a big week opening presents. Then on Monday it was off to the cabin for some exciting snowmobling and sledding. We had a great time and thanks to the fam for letting us ride there machines. We had a blast. It is good to be home tough and it will be great to use all the fun toys that we got. Thank you everyone! Happy New Year :)

Three Layers of Christmas
In Relief Society we had a Christmas party about making Christmas simple. It was a night full of the spirit and tears. One speaker gave her talk on the three layers of chritstmas. The first being the santa clause layer. This is the presents, the candy, decorations, last minute shopping, caroling and all the stuff that we fill ourselves up on, until we can not wait untill the the 26th, so we can finally put all the decorations away and start the new year. The second layer is the baby Jesus layer. This layer consist of nativities, wisemen, service projects and all the good things of christmas. However, this layer fades just like the first layer and we all continue on our way through the new year, without every really celebrating the birth of Christ. The third layer is the layer that we must have for Christmas, so that we may keep it with us all year long. It is the celebration of the adult Christ. This is what he did for us, and what he does for our busy lives today. We need to remember him all year long and keep the magical feeling of Christmas with us. Just like a cake you must have layers to make it good. How good would it be, if we could constantly keep the thought of the Savior with us all year long? I hope you all have a "simple" christmas and are able to keep the third layer of Christmas with you all year long.
